I'm Ben. I paint in oils, dance salsa and bachata, play pickleball most days, host mahjong nights for friends, and cook, run, read, and meditate in between.

I've also written software for about 14 years. I burned out on it, took real time off, and came back wanting the work to mean something. These days I run a one-person shop, Good Robot Co, and the project closest to my heart is software for orthotics and prosthetics clinics.

This site is for all of it: art, friendship, love, philosophy, work, and whatever else being a human turns up. What I'm up to this month is on the now page. The small products I've shipped over the years are on the ships page.
